For the longest time I thought teachers should keep to being content experts and not be involved in selling or marketing. The “engineers of the souls” (灵魂的工程师) are doing spiritual work and is held in high esteem. Surely they should not be “thinking in business terms” which is deemed to be too worldly.
Yet
- If you are not in business then you are not allowing you to grow to your fullest capacity
- In fact if you are not in business you are not allowing your best self to shine through
- And if you are not promoting yourself than you are not impacting enough lives nor living your higher purpose
