Ever wonder how you can promote your business without being a pushy marketer?
Easy.
Just Be Yourself.
This post from Google Plus shows you what great marketing skills you already have as an trainer, coach or educator.
As a Trainer, Coach or Educator, you possess marketing skills and are using them in your everyday work which makes you a great candidate for being a brilliant marketer.
The Content Marketing Institute defines content marketing as
“A marketing technique of creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract and acquire a clearly defined audience – with the objective of driving profitable customer action.”
Marketing is not about being spammy or pushy. In fact, I think marketing comes quite naturally to those in the coaching and training profession. Here’s why:
- They both identify gaps and problems
- They both bridge the gap with training and education
- They move their learners and marketers towards their goals and
- They observe what their clients need.
In the embedded post from Google+ below I’ll show you 4 similarities between educators and marketers in more details. If you have more, feel free to add to the list using the comments section below.
Note: you may need to be logged into your Google Plus account to see the embed post here. Otherwise, you can see the post here.
